Charles Dickerson IV serves as the President and Chief Consultant at Dickerson Sport & Learning Group, LLC. He is a Los Angeles-based team education and enrichment specialist, serving as a leadership and change consultant, curriculum designer, children’s author, teacher, and coach. Charles has a demonstrated ability to successfully facilitate learning activities and skill development for young people of all ages and backgrounds. Charles’ experience ranges from developing quality learning programs for athletic teams of all levels to consulting with high schools, colleges, and professional sport organizations.
A Christian, husband, entrepreneur, and social reformer, Charles is among the world’s most sought-after learning facilitators and speakers. Charles has worked with numerous professional sports teams and education agencies for over a decade – delivering inspirational, thought-provoking presentations. Whether the topic is leadership, teamwork, excelling amid adversity, embracing change, perseverance, or inclusion, Charles’ messages are uplifting and transformative.
Charles is currently pursuing his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership for Justice at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Charles holds an MA in Coaching and Athletics Administration and an MS in Coaching and Exercise Science from Concordia University Irvine. Charles also has an MA in Education from California State University, Dominguez Hills, where he concurrently completed coursework to receive his Single Subject Teaching Credential. He holds a BA in Communication from La Sierra University. At LaSU, he was a member of the school’s interscholastic baseball team. After college, Charles studied abroad in Spain and in the Dominican Republic. He received a Diploma in Hispanic Language and Culture from Escuela Superior de Español de Sagunto in Valencia, Spain, and was selected to participate in the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau Scout Development Program held in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic. Charles holds a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) for Public Managers Certificate from Rutgers University.
Charles devotes time to cycling and is a high school softball coach.
